Dr. Brian Casaclang, Medical Director
Dr. Brian Casaclang is a board-certified physician and has been the medical director of Midwest Operating Engineers (Local 150) since 2017. Dr. C, as many of his members refer to him, received his medical degree from Midwestern University and completed his residency training in family medicine at Ascension Health Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago in 1997. After his residency, Dr. Casaclang spent many years building his clinical skills at Ascension Health in the western suburbs, and at Advocate Health in their busy Lincoln Park practice.
Patient Care Philosophy:
Throughout his practice, Dr. Casaclang focuses on evidence-based medicine and looks at the biological, psychological and social factors that make up a member’s overall wellbeing so that they get care that meets their needs and lifestyles.
How I stay well:
Dr. C is a practicing Roman Catholic and, when he isn’t hard at work, enjoys spending time with his family, reading, cycling, skiing, attending live concerts, playing tennis and getting outside to garden.

Susan Politano, Family Nurse Practitioner
Susan Politano is a certified family nurse practitioner. She has been practicing in outpatient settings of family practice and general medicine for over 20 years. Susan also spent eight years working with patients in rehab and long-term care nursing home settings as a primary care provider. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent 12 years as a nurse in the emergency department and critical care settings. With her wide variety of experience, Susan cares for members who are dealing with long-term health conditions and helps them address their concerns.
Patient Care Philosophy:
Susan’s philosophy is to empower her members with the knowledge they need to make the best decisions about their health.
How I stay well:
When she isn’t working, Susan enjoys being with her family. She feels blessed to have a grown son, one grandson, both of her parents and very close siblings.

Lauren Olszewski, Family Nurse Practitioner
Lauren Olszewski is a certified family nurse practitioner from Oak Lawn. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Lauren was a nurse for 11 years, caring for patients in the emergency room, the recovery room and those who came in for IVF procedures. Before joining the Operators’ Health Center, she was a nurse practitioner at a very busy primary care clinic.
How I stay well:
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her 15-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son.

Kate Hymes, Family Nurse Practitioner
Kate Hymes is a certified family nurse practitioner at the Operators’ Health Center in Countryside, previously practicing at the Premise Health Wellness Center Northbrook location. She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Patient Care Philosophy:
Kate’s approach to care is member-centered, encouraging her members to take an active role in their health by empowering them to make evidence-based choices. She believes that the ability to make sustainable changes begins with education and options tailored to an individual’s needs.
How I stay well:
In her free time, Kate enjoys camping, jogging and attending outside music events.

Dr. Stacey Carpenter, Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Stacey Carpenter has been a family medicine physician for more than a decade. She grew up in Sandwich, IL and completed her years of higher education within the Great Lakes region.
Patient Care Philosophy:
Her philosophy is built on having a strong relationship with her members which she demonstrates by creating a supportive and collaborative environment. Her goal is to have members who come and see her feel heard, respected and empowered in decisions around their healthcare. Dr. Carpenter is also passionate about providing care across multiple generations within families.
How I stay well:
When she isn’t at work, she likes to try new recipes, spend time with her husband and two dogs and help her family out on their farm.

Dr. Erin Burrell, Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Erin Burrell earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology while living abroad in England and completed her doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2015. Dr. Burrell focuses on reducing inner conflict and increasing resiliency to better manage life’s evolving challenges. She is experienced in providing therapeutic services to those struggling with substance misuse, anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, adjustment to life stressors, grief and loss, identity struggles, relationship difficulties and individuals with low self-esteem.
Patient Care Philosophy:
Her compassionate, non-judgmental environment is a space where members feel safe to explore how their past and current life experiences impact their everyday lives. She is passionate about helping members realize that they are all individuals on their own journeys.

Dr. Tyler Gress, Chiropractor
Dr. Gress knew he wanted to become a chiropractor since he was young. Spending time at his father’s chiropractic clinic, he became fascinated by how chiropractic care could provide patients with near-instant relief. Dr. Gress graduated from Purdue University in 2014 and Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2018. His passion continues to be helping members find the care they need so they can get, stay and be well.
How I stay well:
When he isn’t at work, Dr. Gress enjoys spending time with his wife, Julia. He is also a big sports fan and cheers on the Purdue Boilermakers as a diehard fan.

Dr. Ian Bennett, Physical Therapist
Dr. Ian Bennett is a proud Midwestern University alumnus, where he earned his doctorate in physical therapy in 2017. He became a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists in 2023. He is passionate about empowering members by providing them the tools they need to achieve their wellness and fitness goals.
Patient Care Philosophy:
His goal is to help members restore physical function, improve their health and return to the activities they love as he supports their long-term wellbeing. His skillset lies in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, vestibular and concussion rehabilitation, post-operative recovery and prosthetic gait training across many cultures and ages.
How I stay well:
Outside of work, Dr. Bennett is a dedicated husband and a proud father of two boys. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, watching sports, cooking and playing golf or basketball.

Dr. Amanda Altobelli, Physical Therapist
Dr. Amanda Altobelli graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Saint Louis University and spent the first several years of her career in outpatient orthopedic settings. She became an orthopedic clinical specialist in 2021 and has nine years of experience in progressive management. Her passion comes from teaching members about healthy ways to take care of their body through exercise, sleep, nutrition, stress management and socializing.
How I stay well:
In her free time, Dr. Altobelli enjoys being with her husband and children. When she gets a moment to herself, she likes reading and riding her bike.

Missi Kraus, Registered Nurse
Missi Kraus is a board-certified registered nurse who began her nursing journey on the cardiac telemetry floor at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Her leadership began while she was serving inpatients as a charge nurse and mentoring new graduate nurses. She then transitioned to a clinical supervisor role in cardiology and gastroenterology outpatient settings before joining Premise. Missi has lived in the western suburbs all her life.
How I stay well:
When she isn’t hard at work, she loves camping and going on cruises to tropical (and not-so-tropical) destinations.
