General Questions

The Carpenters Center for Health is conveniently located on the 3rd floor of the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council’s Lisle campus in Suite 312 – 4979 Indiana Avenue, Lisle, IL.

The Carpenters Center for Health’s hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday  a.m. – 7 p.m.

The Carpenters Center for Health staff includes a Doctor as the Medical Director of the Health Center, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Health Case Care Manager (also a Registered Nurse), Medical Assistants, health center manager, physical therapist, chiropractor, and skilled support staff. Premise Health has carefully screened and staffed the Carpenters Center for Health with qualified providers ready to deliver exceptional care to you and your family. Anyone working at the Carpenters Center for Health is an employee of Premise Health and not an employee of MACRC.

Premise Health is the organization that will operate and staff the Carpenters Center for Health. They are one of the nation’s leading managers of onsite health clinics. Service Questions

After you have been treated at the Carpenters Center for Health, you may request any records be sent to another medical provider. If your community provider uses Epic (or My Chart) for their electronic health records (EHR), your records will be available via Epic’s Care Everywhere platform and vice versa.

The Carpenters Center for Health does not have a full‑service pharmacy; however, it does carry a variety of medications on site for treatment of acute illness such as a sinus infection, strep throat, etc. Limited starter generic medications are provided on site as part of your visit to the Health Center in support of condition management (for example, a cholesterol lowering medication for the diagnosis of high cholesterol). The staff is able to prescribe medications and send the prescriptions to your regular pharmacy for pickup at your convenience.

Cost Questions

All services provided at the Health Center are free of charge to eligible MACRC members and their dependents.

Eligibility Questions

Access to the Carpenters Center for Health is available to members (including spouses and dependent children, ages 2 and up) who are eligible and enrolled in comprehensive medical benefits under the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council Benefit Funds Active, Retiree and Low Cost Plans.

No. To use the Carpenters Center for Health you and your dependents must be eligible for benefits and enrolled in comprehensive medical benefits under MACRC Benefit Fund’s Active, Low Cost or Retiree Plans.

Yes, as long as you are eligible for and enrolled in the Comprehensive Medical benefits under the Retiree Plan.

If you are not eligible for benefits, you may not use the health center.
