Sonya Knox, RN, HCM – Registered Nurse & Health Center Manager

Sonya received her Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Troy University. Sonya has previous experience in Med Surg, Obstetrics, Geriatrics, Home Health, and Case Management, and has served as a staff nurse, supervisor, manager, assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, and Infection Preventionist. She enjoys working with people of all types and helping with their healthcare needs and/or with whatever challenges they may be facing. 

Jon E. Adams, DMSc, PA-C – Physician Assistant

Jon has practiced as a PA for 25 years in Troy, Alabama, his hometown. Besides the day-to-day occupational medicine exams, respiratory evaluations, or workplace injuries, Jon provides direct patient care for non-work-related acute illnesses and preventive health evaluations.  Jon earned his Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degree from the University of Lynchburg. He obtained his Master of Health Science in Physician Assistance Studies from the University of South Alabama; a Master of Education in Exercise Science from Auburn University, and a Bachelor of Science in Health from Troy University. Jon enjoys working in Occupational Medicine and Athletic Medicine. 

Chelsea Lawson, LPN -Licensed Practical Nurse

Chelsea attended Lurleen B. Wallace Community College and has over seven years of experience in geriatric care. She started her journey in Occupational Health in 2023 and is eager to help patients get, stay, and be well

Jessica Bivin, RN, GHCM – Registered Nurse & Group Health Center Manager over Sikorsky & Troy MFC

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and has been an RN for over 20 years. Jessica enjoys Occupational Health and making sure the workforce remains healthy and injury-free! Being part of preventive health and injury prevention has really become her passion.

Jessica Rees, RN, HCM– Registered Nurse & Health Center Manager

Jessica received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Indiana University of Kokomo. She loves working as a nurse and has appreciated the flexibility and growth that it has offered her. She enjoys building a great rapport with people. She works hard to develop work relationships with all members of the team and tries to bring a positive attitude and influence to the work environment.

Karen Bailey, RN, HCM – Registered Nurse, Health Center Manager

Karen is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia with a Registered Nurse degree. Karen has a special interest in Occupational Medicine and Medical/Surgical Nursing. Karen enjoys educating patients on how to improve their health and wellness and wants to help patients enhance their quality of life.

Connie A Davis FNP-BC- Board Certified- Family Nurse Practitioner

Connie completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, master’s degree in nursing administration and Postmaster Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Connie’s goal is to treat every patient with dignity, respect, and professionalism.  She enjoys her role as a nurse practitioner and always strives to promote the highest quality of patient care.  

Idella Hogan, LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse

Idella received her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse and has worked for Lockheed Martin as an occupational nurse for over 35 years. Idella enjoys helping the members at Lockheed Martin get, stay and be well. 

California

Shena Guzman, MA, CAOHC, HCM -Medical Assistant & Health Center Manager

Shena attended the University of Antelope Valley. She enjoys making a difference in a patient’s life. Shena tries her best to provide exceptional patient care and customer service because she wants her patients to receive the care, she wishes her family would receive. 

Dr. Carmen Arriola, MD, MS

Dr Arriola received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC Irvine with an emphasis in Evolutionary Plant Biochemistry. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at UC Davis. Her internship experience focused on Family Practice at UC Davis and her Residency was focused on Occupational and Environmental Medicine at UC Irvine. Dr. Arriola is passionate about food as medicine. She returned to school at the age of 50 to get a master’s degree in environmental toxicology to improve her skills in understanding the effects the environment and industrial food have on our health.

Wendy Macedo, FNP-C – Family Nurse Practitioner

Wendy received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Wendy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary’s University. Wendy enjoys creating positive health outcomes by helping members with lifestyle changes. 

Mercedes Avila, FNP – Family Nurse Practitioner

Mercedes Avila is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her advanced practice degree from UCLA and is a proud Bruin. She is passionate about improving health outcomes through individualized and compassionate care. She enjoys connecting with patients and strives to always learn more about her field of expertise to provide high-quality patient care.

Cynthia Barahona, RN, BSN – Registered Nurse

Cynthia received her Bachelor of Science with a major in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Arizona.  She enjoys learning new skills and teaching her patients how to improve their health through evidence-based medicine. 

Gladys D. Chacon CMA, COHC – Medical Assistant

Gladys attended Watterson College for her Medical Assistant Diploma. She holds her Medical Assistant certification with The California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants. Gladys enjoys interacting with members daily and making sure they are leading a healthy lifestyle.

Jean received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master’s in Public Health at Boston University in Boston, MA. Jean enjoys providing quality and compassionate care to all patients. Devon’s clinical experience ranges from primary 911 response as an EMT in Boulder, CO to specialty psychiatric private practices delivering transcranial magnetic stimulation and specializing in Addiction Medicine. Dr. Andrew Plotkin, MD – Medical Director

Dr. Plotkin received his Doctor of Medicine at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL.  He received his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado in Denver, CO. Dr Plotkin also holds his Master of Public Health from Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Plotkin enjoys Occupational Medicine, General Health and Wellness, Public health.  His goal is to partner with patients to help promote their overall health and well-being and to address their specific health concerns and health goals. He also enjoys providing medical expertise as a medical consultant.

Mitsy Kuramoto, RN – Registered Nurse

Mitsy has been a registered nurse for over 10 years and studied nursing at Pasadena City College. Mitsy has worked primarily in occupational health and loves getting to know her patients, what they do and supporting them to stay healthy and active.  She strives to provide excellent customer service to all members and make their experience at the Wellness Center enjoyable.

Grace Sincavage, MA – Medical Assistant

Grace holds an active CCMA license, Phlebotomy Certificate, CNA License, and is EKG Certified. Grace enjoys working in Occupational Health and helping the members at Lockheed Martin.

Julie Conaway – Medical Receptionist

Julie attended the University of Northern Colorado. Julie works to provide the best patient service care, bring fun into the clinic, make everyone feel welcome and well taken care of when they leave the clinic.

Connecticut

Michael Bethune, MBA, HCM – Health Center Manager

Michael earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Albertus Magnus College. Michael joined the Premise team in February 2023. He has previous administrative experience with Hartford Healthcare and is now leading the Stratford and Bridgeport Wellness Center teams to deliver the highest quality of care.

Kathleen “Kate” Mangini, MSN, FNP-C – Family Nurse Practitioner

Kate received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rochester and her Master of Science degree in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner route from Southern Connecticut State University. Kate spent 12 years working in various hospital systems across Vermont, North Carolina and Connecticut. Upon completion of her master’s degree, Kate practiced in urgent care settings before transitioning to Occupational Health.

Michael Dugo, PA-C -Physician Assistant

Michael completed his degree in Biomolecular Science from Central Connecticut State University and then graduated from Nova Southeastern University with his degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Michael has been a Physician Assistant for the past 12 years with a background in acute care medicine. 

Morgan Albert, RN, BSN – Registered Nurse

Morgan graduated from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. Morgan has two and a half years of experience working in the Emergency Department at Bridgeport Hospital.

Yezzy Castillo, LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse

Yezzy obtained her Associate of Science Degree in General Studies at Housatonic Community College and completed the Licensed Practical Nurse Program at Bullard Havens Technical. Yezzy has been working in the healthcare field since 1999. Her passion for providing quality care led her to pursue her LPN license at Bullard Havens in 2012. With over 2 decades of healthcare experience, Yezzy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of her patients and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Lisa is proud to have been a nurse for 34 years, from LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) all the way to NP (Nurse Practitioner)! Her experience has mainly been in the Emergency Room, where she worked for 26 years. Lisa is currently in school working on her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and is excited to lead the medical team and serve the members at Lockheed Martin.

Lisa has experience in Acute Care Neurology, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine and Orthopedics, and over 20 years of experience in Occupational Health. Lisa enjoys hands-on nursing where she can give personal individual care for the whole person, mind body, and spirit. She loves teaching her patients ways to get, stay, and be well and challenges them with support groups to help them succeed in their goals.

Her goal is to continue her nursing education, grow as an occupational nurse, and to contribute to the growth our future nurses as an Educator. When she is not working, she enjoys exploring the scenic roads of Florida and paddle boarding.

Reecee earned her degree at Webster Jr. College and has been working as a Medical Assistant for almost 30 years. She enjoys coaching her patients on blood pressure and diabetes. Reecee also likes a good challenge with her phlebotomy skills.

Kimberly Dixon, MSN, RN, COHC, GHCM – Registered Nurse & Group Health Center Manager over RMS Wellness Centers

Kimberly received her Bachelor of Science degree in Cardiopulmonary Science/Respiratory Therapy from the University of Central Florida. Then, she pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing followed by a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Strategic Leadership from the University of Charleston. Kim’s experience includes Leadership, Registered Respiratory Therapy, Emergency Medicine, Various Critical Care Units, Gastroenterology, Ambulatory Surgery, and Occupational Health. Alisa Katz, FNP-C, COHN-S – Family Nurse Practitioner

Alisa attended the City University of New York where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She then earned her master’s degree in nursing at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY.  She is board-certified by ANCC (American Nurse Credentialing Center) and ABOHN (American Board for Occupational Health Nurses). Alisa has previous experience in the primary care setting, Chase Bank headquarters Employee Health services, and was a director of the NY Methodist Hospital Employee Health department for over 10 years. After moving to Florida, she continued her NP career in occupational health at the HCA Medical Center of Trinity. Alisa believes every patient deserves the undivided attention of a healthcare provider and is happy to provide that care at the Wellness Center. 

Annabelle Harte, BSN, RN, COHC, HCM – Registered Nurse, Health Center Manager

Annabelle earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Jacksonville University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida. Her clinical interests are worker health & wellness, worker safety, compliance, and leading her team members to provide the best care for their patients.  

Anna Cisneros, MSN, APRN-C, ANP, COHN-S – Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner

Anna received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and her Bachelor of Science from Florida State University. Anna enjoys practicing Adult Medicine, Occupational Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine.

Donna Snyder, RN, COHN – Registered Nurse, Certified Occupational Health Nurse

Donna received her associate degree in nursing and is a Certified Occupational Health Nurse. Donna enjoys Occupational Health Nursing and Women’s Health.

Alex Wallman, CCMA– Medical Assistant

Alex received her medical assisting certificate at Hillsborough Community College, and she has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of South Florida. She has a background in urgent care and occupational health and really enjoys making connections with each patient.

Rebekah Vazquez, RN, CCRN– Registered Nurse, Health Center Manager

Rebekah started her nursing career with an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Valencia College and began working in an acute care hospital. She is currently working towards a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Administration at Western Governor’s University. Rebekah enjoys working with patients to ensure that they receive quality, compassionate care so they can get to a better lifestyle.  

Nakia Hunter, MSN, APRN, A-GNP-C –Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner

Nakia received her Master of Science degree in Nursing, Adult/Gerontology Primary Care from the University of South Florida with a subspecialty in Occupational Health and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Nakia enjoys Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Occupational Healthcare. She enjoys using a holistic approach while guiding her patients to health and sharing practices that will enhance their quality of life.

Kim-Cheree Jackson MSN, ARPN, FNP-BC, CCNS

Kim-Cheree received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bethune Cookman University, her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Central Florida in the Clinical Nurse Specialist program, and an FNP Postmaster’s Certificate from UMASS Boston. Kim-Cheree has over 18 years of nursing experience, including 9 years in Critical Care as a direct care nurse, nurse educator, and clinical nurse specialist. Kim-Cheree also has an additional 9 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. She strongly believes in evidence-based medicine and that collaboration is the key to good clinical outcomes.

Zahira Olivardia, Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist

Zahira has been a certified Medical Assistant and phlebotomist since 2007. She has experience in family medicine and is bilingual in Spanish. Zahira’s goal is to provide excellent care and a great patient experience.

Georgia

Roshel Kersey, LPN, HCM – Health Center Manager

Roshel graduated from Arkansas State University, Newport with a background in nursing. She has 4 years’ experience in Primary Care and 8 years’ experience in Corrections with an array of skills in Med Surg, Women’s Health, LTC, and Behavioral Health. One of her proudest moments was when she was awarded the Beverly Burst of Excellence for being an outstanding nurse at a Pediatric Center serving kids with developmental delays. She is proud to lead the Marietta Wellness Center team and help the members get, stay and be well.

Doris Frimpong, FNP-C – Nurse Practitioner

Doris earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of West Georgia and her Master of Science degree in nursing from Kennesaw State University. Doris is a Family Nurse Practitioner with 7 years of experience in Primary Care and Occupational Health. She also has 6 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Acute Care. Doris has experience working with patients of all ages for preventative care and acute illness/chronic disease management and she was the recipient of the Daisy Award for Most Caring Nurse in 2012 at WellStar Douglas Hospital! Doris is a professional with a compassionate and caring attitude who listens to the needs of her patients to provide them with excellent, safe, and evidence-based care. She is passionate about wellness promotion and disease prevention and focuses on patient education to help her patients achieve optimal health.

Turquoise Holmes, FNP-C – Nurse Practitioner

Turquoise Holmes is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama. She has worked as a Registered Nurse for 8 years in Post-Surgical Med-Surg and Critical Care units. Aspiring to learn and do more for her patients, she went back to school at the University of South Alabama and obtained her Master of Science degree in nursing. She began working as a Nurse Practitioner and has experience in various settings including Radiology, Correctional, Pain Management and Infusion.

One of the proudest moments in her nursing career was being a recipient of the Daisy Award for Excellence in Nursing at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Turquoise is a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and continues to strive to build strong relationships with her patients with the goal of improving patient health outcomes.

Shauna L. Robinson, MSN, PMHNP-C, FNP-C – Nurse Practitioner

Shauna Robinson, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with an impressive career spanning over 15 years in healthcare, including 8 years in primary care and occupational health. Her passion for mentoring and helping others naturally led her to a fulfilling career in the healthcare field. Shauna holds an impressive educational background, starting with her Associates of Nursing degree from Georgia State University: Perimeter College in 2009. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University in 2013, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in 2015. In 2023, she obtained a Post-Masters Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Georgia College and State University, further expanding her knowledge and expertise.

Throughout her career, Shauna has gained valuable experience working with patients of all ages, providing comprehensive care ranging from preventative wellness to acute/chronic care management. Sharon Williams, RN, COHN – Registered Nurse

Sharon is an experienced Registered Nurse with a focus on occupational health. She earned her associate degree in nursing from Excelsior College in 2009 and Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) in 2019. She has worked in the aircraft industry for the past 19 years and has prior experience as a Paramedic/Firefighter for 13 years. Sharon enjoys helping people get well and stay well by delivering personal, caring, high-quality health care.

Sabina Do, RN – Registered Nurse

Sabina graduated from Northeastern University with her bachelor’s in nursing. She has 8 years’ experience as a Navy nurse, 2 years’ experience as a COVID ER travelling nurse and most recently worked as an IV hydration lead nurse. Her goals are to learn as much as excel at Occupational Health, participate in more volunteer work and to continue participating in events with veterans in her community.

Ella has been a nurse for over 8 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Lee University in TN and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercer University in Atlanta. One of her proudest moments was receiving the Daisy Award in 2022. Ella is passionate about patient advocacy and educating patients so they can make the best possible decisions for their health care. Her goal is to get certified in occupational health and advance in her nursing career.

Ashley attended Chamberlain University where she received her Master of Science in Nursing specializing in Nurse Executive. Ashley enjoys promoting health and wellness to the patients she meets and encourages them to take an active approach to their health.

Katrina George, PA-C – Physician Assistant

Katrina is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant who joined The Wellness Center in 2012. She completed her medical training at MCP Hahnemann/Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to joining the Wellness Center, Katrina operated an onsite Occupational Health Clinic for staff at a school for children and adults with learning disabilities. She has a passion for Occupational Health and encourages her patients to get, stay and be well.

Wendy Morrison, MSN, RN – Registered Nurse

Wendy received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Wilmington University. Wendy has seven years of experience in a hospital cardiac unit. Prior to becoming a nurse, Wendy worked for 12 years as a research and development scientist for GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals.

Deb Grant, RN HCM – Registered Nurse & Health Center Manager

Deb attended Excelsior College in Albany, NY, and Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA. Deb has experience in Cardiology, mainly in the Cardiac Cath Lab, and has transitioned into Employee Health/Occupational Medicine. Deb has taken multiple certification courses with Homeland Security in Alabama and has become a certified Tobacco Cessation Counselor with continued training at Mayo Clinic.

Ho Ling “Tina” Yoest, NP – Nurse Practitioner

Tina received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Binghamton University. Tina has an interest in orthopedics and wellness. Her goal is to walk alongside members regardless of what stage they’re in on their health journey to facilitate lifestyle modifications that lead to lasting changes.

Jamie Vought, LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse

Jamie graduated from the BOCES LPN program. Jamie has previous experience in Family Practice and has recently joined the Occupational Health field with Premise Health and Lockheed Martin. 

Kimberly Jurenko RN, BSN & HCM

Kimberly is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College of Nursing where she achieved a bachelor’s in science with a major in Nursing in 1995.  Kim has worked in critical care for most of her career. As a Health Center manager, Kim works closely with Lockheed Martin to provide up-to-date information to all the members the Wellness Center cares for. Kimberly prides herself in the initiation of the “Relaxation Room” within the Wellness Center, as a calm place for “a soft landing” for those who may have a personal crisis during their workday.  Kim provides care with dignity, support and compassion.

Kimberly values caring for our members here at the Syracuse location. She is the current Health and Safety Director for Honor Flight Syracuse and embraces the Veteran population in all she does. Kimberly works and lives each day using the motto, “It only takes one person to save another”, and will do anything in her power to make that happen.

Brandon Wolfenden, MS, PA-C – Physician Assistant

Brandon grew up in the Syracuse, NY area and is a graduate of Liverpool High School.  He joined the Army as a teenager and served as an Operations Medical Sergeant for almost 10 years.  After leaving the military, Brandon went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Forest Biology from SUNY ESF in Syracuse and then received his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Le Moyne College in Syracuse. Brandon has over 15 years of experience as a PA working in Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care, Orthopedics and Occupational Medicine.  

As a Premise Health Provider, he enjoys helping others learn to live a healthy lifestyle, manage their chronic conditions, and teaching preventative care measures. He also firmly believes in delivering outstanding care by utilizing evidence-based medicine to guide his practice and teachings. He is passionate about taking care of our veterans and volunteers with several local organizations helping veterans with PTSD and sits on the Board of Directors for several local, community-based, non-for-profit organizations.

Susan Miller, RN, BS, CDCES – Registered Nurse, Certified Diabetes Education Specialist

Sue graduated from Crouse Hospital’s School of Nursing in Syracuse, N.Y., and worked at Crouse Hospital for 31 years in areas such as Critical Care, PACU, Endoscopy, and Pre-testing.  She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition from Syracuse University and due to her strong interest in Diabetes, also obtained her certification as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Sue also worked at St. Joseph’s Health in Syracuse where she led a team that focused on providing compassionate diabetic care and later worked with the Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists from the University of Rochester at their onsite MFM clinic to offer diabetic education to high-risk pregnancy patients. 

Over the years, Sue has learned the importance of listening as a means of uncovering the real barriers that hold each person back from becoming their optimal self.  She believes in leaving patients with the confidence and tools that they will need to better themselves today and in the future. Premise Health has offered her the ability to spend this much-needed time with her clients to delve through these barriers leading to improved outcomes.

Misty Armstrong, RN, HCM- Registered Nurse & Health Center Manager

Misty holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from West Virginia University and an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing. In addition, she has been a Nationally Registered Paramedic for 13 years. Her experience includes Emergency Department, Critical Care Transport, Primary Care and Occupational Health. Misty is a dedicated Registered Nurse and Health Center Manager, with a passion for occupational health. Her focus is providing patient-centered care while mitigating risk for the client. She utilizes her skill set in leading healthcare delivery with superb customer service. She is a current member of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses and is a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist.

Tracy Britto, APRN, FNP-C, COHN-S, COHC – Nurse Practitioner

Tracy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pace University in New York and her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Illinois. Tracy is currently board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses, and the South Carolina Association of Occupational Health Nurses, is a certified Occupational Health Nurse- Specialist and a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist. Angela Phelps, CMA, INHC – Administrative/Medical Assistant

Angela earned her associate in health science and Certified Medical Assisting degree from ECPI University in 2015. She is a member of the American Association of Medical Assisting.  In 2019 she received her Integrative Nutritional Health Coach Certification from IIN. Angela has a 25-year background in the healthcare field that ranges from Urgent Care, Internal medicine, Primary care and Allergic disease and Asthma. Lori obtained her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas and has over 35 years of experience in Occupational Audiology and Hearing Conservation. Lori’s main goal is to help mitigate hearing loss in workers caused by hazardous noise. 

Kim Vu, MSN, APRN, FNP-C – Nurse Practitioner

Kim Vu was born in Vietnam, raised in Kansas, and completed her advanced practice RN degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is a board-certified family NP and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has almost 8 years of critical care nursing experience and 4 years of primary care/internal medicine NP experience. Kim strives to deliver compassionate, high-quality, and evidence-based care. She is passionate about preventative health, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and empowering patients to make informed decisions for their health.

Her clinical background is primarily critical care nursing and she specialized in acute cardiovascular care. Cindy has her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Arlington. Cindy is currently a NIOSH fellow actively pursuing her Doctorate at the University of Alabama with a focus in Occupational Health. She also serves as the co-chair of the AAOHN Practice Committee. Cindy has over 10 years of experience in Cardiology, Primary Care, Occupational Health, and Urgent and Emergency care. Cheryl Gordon, APRN, MSN, FNP-BC – Nurse Practitioner

Cheryl received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas in Arlington and became licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Cheryl has over 12 years of emergency nursing experience, worked almost 10 years as a Nurse Practitioner in urgent care and emergency settings, and is currently a Clinical Instructor for Nurse Practitioner students at UTA.

Bree Bussell, RN, TNCC – Registered Nurse

Bree received her associate degree in nursing from Carteret Community College in Morehead City, North Carolina. Prior to her past 2 years in Occupational nursing, Bree’s experience includes 8 years of emergency nursing with 6 years in a level 2 trauma center. She is passionate about helping patients take control of their health and believes that every interaction with a patient has the potential to impact their lives in a positive way.

Joanie Ortega, MA, ROT – Medical Assistant

Joanie received her Medical Assistant Certification with PCI Health Training in 2000, her associates degree in 2005 at DCCC, and her Registered Orthopedic Technologist with American Society of Orthopedic Professionals in 2013. Joanie has over 13 years as a Medical Assistant in Orthopedic and Sports Medicine. She enjoys educating patients about health and wellness, especially through Wellness Events.

Yosiko “Kitty” Dais, RN, MSL, CRRN, RN-BC, COHC, HCM – Registered Nurse & Health Center Manager

Kitty is a Registered Nurse with certifications in Rehabilitation, Pain Management, and Hearing Conservation. Kitty completed her associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing and completed her Master of Science degree in Leadership and Management in 2015.  She has experience in hospital settings, clinics, and colleges working in Obstetrics, Pre-Op, Med Surg, Occupational Health and as a clinical instructor. Kitty enjoys interacting with patients and participating in helping to make a difference in keeping them healthy.

Amanda Pantin, AVP- Associate Vice President of Operations

Amanda Pantin earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.  Ms. Pantin joined Premise Health in 2002 and has served in multiple leadership roles throughout her career.  In her current role as Associate Vice President of Operations, Amanda’s focus is building business partnerships with our Lockheed Martin client contacts, and managing operations for the Lockheed Martin Wellness Centers.  She is passionate about our mission to help people get, stay and be well.  In her free time, she enjoys experiencing cultures from around the world and exploring the outdoors with her family.

Tracie Sykes, MSN, RN, Dip-ACLM, Director of Client Operations

Tracie is an Oklahoma University graduate who has enjoyed serving patients and medical teams since 1990. She has an extensive background as a people leader and Adult Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist, supporting large level-one Trauma Centers and the development of a Phase II Cardiac Rehab, with the past 13 years serving in Occupational and Wellness Care for Lockheed Martin and Premise Health. Her specialties include Lifestyle Medicine, Cardiac and Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Andrew Plotkin, MD – Medical Director

Dr. Plotkin received his Doctor of Medicine at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL.  He received his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado in Denver, CO. Dr Plotkin also holds his Master of Public Health from Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Plotkin enjoys Occupational Medicine, General Health and Wellness, and Public Health.  His goal is to partner with patients to help promote their overall health and well-being and to address their specific health concerns and health goals. He also enjoys providing medical expertise as a medical consultant.  

Becky Garcia, MSN, FNP-C CDCES COHN-S – Director of Clinical Operations

Becky received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Tampa. Becky is passionate about total worker health, diabetes, nutrition and movement, and health equity.

Justin Adams, RN, COHC – Registered Nurse & Occupational Health Manager

Justin studied Public Relations Communications at Auburn University and completed his nursing education at the Community College of Denver Science of Nursing. Justin has a passion for Occupational Health. He enjoys working closely with employees and employers to promote a safe and healthy workplace.  He finds it very rewarding to help navigate patients and their employers through the different aspects of occupational health, including surveillance, accommodations, and workers’ compensation.

Kelly received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida. She is currently working on her master’s degree in health service administration and is looking forward to graduation in May of 2024.
