Dr. Mark T. McVay D.O., FAAFP – Lead Physician

Dr. McVay earned his medical degree from Des Moines University in Iowa, completing his family medicine residency at Hillcrest Medical Center in Oklahoma. His impressive career spans various roles, including serving as program director at Mountain Vista Family Medicine Residency Program in Arizona and working as a hospitalist and staff physician at several medical institutions. A renowned educator, Dr. McVay has taught post-graduate medicine through the University of Kansas and has led the development of family medicine residency programs in Egypt and Iraq. He’s also served as personal physician to the current King of Saudi Arabia. Dr. McVay is passionate about delivering evidence-based medical care that addresses the whole person and family.

Diego Saavedra, PA-C, MPA – Physician Assistant

Diego Saavedra is a certified Physician Assistant with a Master of Physician Assistant degree from Wichita State University (2019) and a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from Washburn University (2012). He is NCCPA certified and has experience in rural care, emergency medicine, urgent care, and primary care. Diego enjoys the diversity of primary care and values treating a wide range of patients.

Phuong Duong, MSN, FNP-BC – Nurse Practitioner

Phuong Duong is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Wichita State University (2015). She has worked in family practice since graduation and is dedicated to providing quality patient care.

Audra Hoheisel, MSN, FNP-C – Nurse Practitioner

Audra Hoheisel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain University (2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from The University of Texas at Arlington (2009). She has experience in family practice, asthma, allergy, and immunology. Prior to becoming a nurse, Audra served in the United States Air Force as a medic.

Tammy Northrop, BSN-RN – Health Center Manager

Tammy Northrop is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience. She received her Registered Nurse degree from Butler Community College and her Nursing Bachelor Degree from Western Governors University. Tammy has experience in emergency services, hospice care, specialty clinics, and veterans’ affairs. She brings regulatory and process improvement expertise to the team.

Heather Bowen, BSN-RN – Condition Nurse Care Manager

Heather Bowen is a registered nurse who received her Associate of Science in Nursing from Butler Community College and her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Fort Hays State University. Her healthcare experience includes cardiology and the ICU. Heather aims to empower members to create positive change in their healthcare journey.

Jennifer Otis, LSCSW, LMSW - Clinical License Social Worker and Behavioral Health Specialist

Jennifer holds a clinical license as a social worker. She has more than ten years of experience serving the greater Wichita community. Jennifer graduated from Kansas State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree in Psychology. In 2016, she obtained her Master of Social Work from Newman University. Jennifer’s goal is to provide the employees and families of Aviation with the best compassionate and professional care they expect and deserve.

Nelly Moreno, CMA – Certified Medical Assistant

Nelly Moreno is a certified Medical Assistant who graduated from US Colleges (2021). She has experience working in family practice, women’s health, and specialty clinics. Nelly is dedicated to providing quality patient care.

Elisabeth (Coon) Jacobs, RMA – Registered Medical Assistant

Elisabeth Jacobs is a Registered Medical Assistant and Licensed Phlebotomist who graduated from Wichita Technical Institute (2024). She began her career as a student intern in cardiology and is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Leslie D. Finstad, R.T. (ARRT) - Licensed Radiologic Technologist

Leslie Finstad is a registered Radiologic Technologist with over 20 years of imaging experience in ultrasound and radiology. He graduated from Newman University’s Radiology Program and is registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

June Trask - Receptionist

June Trask is the medical receptionist who assists with checking members in and out. She has over 10 years of administrative experience, primarily in the dental field. June supports the medical team and is committed to delivering an exceptional member experience.

Summer Gardner – Referral Coordinator

Summer Gardner is the referral coordinator who assists with scheduling patient appointments and ensuring continuity of care. She has been in the medical field for around 5 years and completed her medical coding and billing course in 2024.

Zane Ochs PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT - Physical Therapist

Zane received a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Wichita State University in 2010 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2013. Zane achieved Orthopedic Clinical Specialist status from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 2015 and Fellowship status from the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists in 2018.

Benjamin Morales, PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant

Benjamin Morales is a Physical Therapist Assistant with an Associate’s degree in Exercise Science from Butler Community College (2019) and a Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Hutchinson Community College (2020). He has 4.5 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy, specializing in orthopedics and improving members’ quality of life.
