Dr. Tracie Garmany, MD – Family Medicine Physician

Dr. Garmany is a board-certified family medicine physician with over 20 years of experience in family medicine. She completed medical school at James Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, TN, and went on to attend three years of family practice residency training at East Tennessee State University in Bristol, TN. Garmany started her career in a rural family practice in Savannah, TN. She then went on to oversee an onsite health center for employees and family members for the next 13 years. 

Garmany has been recognized several times for her outstanding patient care, including the Excellence in Patient Care Award and Gold Memory Makers Award while overseeing an onsite health center.

Mary Russell, NP – Nurse Practitioner

Mary has been a Nurse Practitioner for 28 years. Prior to coming to Premise, she had more than 15 years of experience in primary care and 10 years in a retail health clinic. She also worked as a Locum tenum provider for an urgent care company and at another employee near-site health company. She holds an MSN from the University of Tennessee and a BSN from Berea College. She enjoys reading, trying new recipes, singing in her church choir and loving on her two cats.

Phyllis Smith, DNP, MBA, FNP-BC – Nurse Practitioner

Phyllis Smith is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience, bringing expertise in both clinical care and healthcare operations. She has served as a visiting professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Chamberlain University for several years. Dr. Smith holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from California Coast University, and both Master’s and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

 

She has served on numerous boards supporting organizational and community improvement initiatives and is an active member, and a former Council Member—of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Outside of her professional work, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her family and exploring diverse cultures.

Amanda Lentz, RN – Registered Nurse

Amanda received her master’s in nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2004 and her Bachelor’s degree from Berea College in 1998. She has over twenty years of clinical experience, with 15 years concentrated in primary care. 

Amanda enjoys meeting new people and is excited to partner with DENSO. She looks forward to joining associates on their path to wellness and assisting in meeting their healthcare needs.

When not working, you will most likely find Amanda outside. She enjoys chasing waterfalls, climbing mountains, biking our beautiful Tennessee hills, camping, traveling and playing in the garden with her family.

Brandy Radford, RN – Group Health Center Manager

Brandy has been a registered nurse for over 15 years. She attended Lincoln Memorial University. After graduating, she began her career with a local community hospital. During that time, she became passionate about providing compassionate and quality care for patients and their families. Brandy was born and raised in East Tennessee. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and homesteading.
