Dr. Kim Gloystein, MD Medical Director

Dr. Kim Gloystein is a native of Nebraska and received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1983. He then came to Kalamazoo, Michigan and finished his residency in Internal Medicine as chief resident in 1987. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. During his career he has had a special interest in acute care and has spent time as an Emergency Room physician and working in the Urgent Care. He has treated patients in the office setting, ER and UC in southwest Michigan for over 30 years. His experience in acute care has reinforced his belief in the importance of preventative care and diligent management of chronic disease.

Dr. Gloystein is married to his wife Carrie and has three children and one grandchild. His other interests include golfing, home improvement projects and spending time with family and friends.

April Felton, FNP-C

April brings 14 years of nursing experience to Premise Health. She received her undergraduate degree at Robert B. Miller College, and her master’s degree in Nursing at South University. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a family Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. She enjoys helping patients with their healthcare needs and promoting wellness. When she is not taking care of the DENSO population April enjoys working on her farm and riding her horses.

Christy Tunney - FNP

Christy Tunney has been employed in healthcare for the past 13 years. She began her career as a Med-Surg Registered Nurse at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw, MI. She continued her career for over 11 years as an Emergency Nurse at MidMichigan Healthcare in Alma, Michigan and eventually as an agency nurse gaining experience at several large emergency departments in Michigan and Minnesota. She chose to pursue advanced education with a master’s degree in nursing with Family Nurse Practitioner Certification at Ferris State University and Frontier Nursing University.

Ultimately, her love for Michigan and her family brought her home and she recently transitioned back to her roots as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. She took a position with Premise Health at Denso Family Health Center and is excited to become part of the health care team. Christy is looking forward to serving the DENSO population and providing excellent care for its employees and their families. Christy was born and raised in Mid-Michigan and resides in Eaton Rapids. In her spare time Christy enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, fitness, and spending time with her family and their two dogs Murphy and Bubbi.

Laura Everett, PT – Physical Therapist

Laura attended Kellogg Community College where she received her Associates of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2006 with 12 years of clinical experience. She enjoys participating in CrossFit and uses her knowledge to assist her clients in achieving their full rehab potential. She continues to pursue growth of knowledge by seeking out additional courses and is currently working on a Trigger Point Certification.

Alexandra Ledington HCM – Health Center Manager

Lexie believes that patient care is first and foremost for a health care facility. She enjoys being an advocate for the families that come through the health center doors and cheers with them as their health goals are achieved. Lexie graduated from Western Michigan University in 2013 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Management and brings a wealth of knowledge to the DFHC. Lexie has been with the DFHC since they opened in 2017 and was promoted to Health Center Manager in 2021.
