Melissa Etchison, ASN, BSN, MSN-FNP-BC
Melissa comes to us with over 34 years of experience in the medical field. Her nursing career started in 1989 when she graduated from Indiana University with an Associate of Science in nursing. She later pursued her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University graduating in 1995. After working as an RN for 23 years she returned to Indiana Wesleyan and completed her Master of Science in nursing in 2012 obtaining her advanced family nurse practitioner degree.
Melissa has been with Premise Health since 2017, and recently moved to North Carolina transferring to our Wake County Employee Health Center. She brings an array of knowledge in not only acute/primary care, but also in the vascular and cardiothoracic arenas.
Melissa has two children and enjoys cruising in her vintage Volkswagen beetle, kayaking, boating, camping, hiking, art, and beach time. We are happy to have Melissa as a part of our team.
