Treatment and management of conditions

Our providers will come up with personalized treatment strategies to help you make positive lifestyle changes to prevent, improve, manage or even reverse certain health issues.

Wellness coaching
The City of Mount Dora Employee Health Center offers wellness coaching to help improve your overall wellbeing. Our certified wellness coaches will meet you where you are and help you make actionable goals to build new skills and make positive lifestyle changes. All coaching sessions are completely confidential and can take place virtually or in-person.
Our wellness coaches address a variety of lifestyle needs, including weight and stress management, nutrition coaching, physical activity routines, tobacco cessation, work/life balance and life satisfaction. They will help you reach your wellness goals through individual wellness coaching and goal setting, group education and lifestyle management programs, corporate challenges, and health and nutrition promotion through seminars, health fairs, meditations and podcasts.
Provider-dispensed medications
Skip the extra trip to the pharmacy. You can get your medications at no cost directly from your provider during a visit. Simply schedule an appointment, discuss your health needs and leave with your medication in hand.
The City of Mount Dora Employee Health Center carries close to 200 medications to cover your needs. This includes over-the-counter options. You can even get up to a 90-day supply for ongoing prescriptions to reduce the number of times you need a refill. When you’re about to run out, schedule a follow-up visit with your provider. They’ll monitor your progress and offer ongoing support.
Prescription Delivery
Skip the line at the pharmacy. Instead, get your prescriptions shipped right to your door at no extra cost. You’ll save money with low-cost generics, reduced co-pays and 90-day fills.
When it’s time to refill, your provider will reach out to make sure you get your medications when you need them. Lab services
We offer many lab services to support your needs. We can perform onsite testing and can also collect and send samples to an offsite lab. Our turnaround time for processing routine lab tests is typically 24 to 48 hours. You can receive your results electronically through your My Premise Health account or during an in-person or virtual follow-up appointment with your provider.
We can perform and process the following onsite:

Premise Health is the organization that operates and staffs your wellness center. We are the nation’s leading provider of direct healthcare, which means we partner with companies to offer their employees high-quality in-person and virtual health services. We are here as your health ally to help you get, stay and be well. We do this with experience, and by shifting the focus from treatment to prevention, empowering you to make health and wellness a priority.
Members are what we call our patients. If your employer has partnered with Premise Health to provide access to our wellness centers and services, you’re automatically considered an eligible member. There is no membership fee to get started. It also reflects how much we value our care relationship with you, because to us, you’re more than just a patient – you’re a member.
Your wellness center is staffed, managed and operated by Premise Health. The medical staff includes a combination of nurse practioners, care management registered nurses, wellness coaches, physical therapists and medical assistants. Each staff member has been carefully screened and is qualified to deliver exceptional care. Your wellness centers are not staffed or managed by your employer in any way.

Your personal health information is confidential, and your data is kept secure. Premise Health operates in accordance with HIPAA and works diligently to protect all health records. We can’t share any personal health information with your employer or anyone else without your permission unless it pertains to a work-related health injury. Premise Health also operates through a private network and software systems that cannot be accessed by other members or company staff. You can review a notice of privacy practices within the wellness center.

While walk-ins are gladly accepted, the preferred method is to schedule an appointment ahead of time.
