Thinking back, it’s where we would engage in small talk and hope our coworkers didn’t heat up their fishy leftovers, but it was also an escape: somewhere we could go to get in a few steps, connect with our work friends and refresh our minds and bodies for a few minutes each day… and maybe even learn something new.
