Primary Care

We offer a comprehensive range of primary care services that focus on your long-term health and preventive care. Your primary care provider will get to know you and your eligible dependents, so they are better equipped to prevent, treat and manage any health issues that may come up. The best part? You can schedule appointments in real-time and message your provider on the secure My Premise Health patient portal, available online and on our mobile app.

Golden Health Pharmacy is conveniently located within the Golden Health Medical Center to get your prescriptions to you faster and easier. Our pharmacists take the time to get to know you and work with your primary care provider to support your overall health. They’ll not only fill your prescriptions but will work with you to manage your medications and conditions.

Unlike your usual big-box pharmacy, we offer a wide range of services that go beyond simply prescribing and monitoring medications. We can provide personal health counseling, coaching and guidance, chronic condition management and disease or medication-specific education, as well as easy prescription transfers and low-cost generics for you and your family. At Golden Health and Golden Valley Medical Centers we offer travel medicine services to not only help you and your family plan for your trip, but to keep you well while you’re away. Based on your destination, things like getting vaccinated, refilling your prescriptions and discussing health risks with your provider can make or break your travel experience.

Our travel medicine services include pre-travel risk assessment, prescriptions and vaccinations based on destination, risk reduction planning and education for self-treatment, as well as post-travel assessments and treatment, or specialist referral.

Women's Health

We understand that each woman is unique and so are your healthcare needs, which is why we offer services specifically for women. Our providers will spend ample time getting to know you, so they can come up with a personalized care plan to support your long-term health.

Along with our general primary care services, we offer the following specifically for women’s health: breast cancer screenings, pregnancy testing, pelvic exams, contraception counseling, STD testing and counseling, cervical cancer screenings (Pap smears), counseling for interpersonal and domestic violence, LGBTQ+ care, comprehensive family care, hormone therapy and education for self-awareness. Women’s health services are available for all Nevada Gold Mines employees and family members.

Condition Management

You don’t have to navigate your health alone. With our condition management services, you and your family can get the support you need to manage your conditions and take control of your health. Our providers will come up with personalized treatment strategies to help you make positive lifestyle changes to prevent, improve, manage or even reverse certain health issues.

Our treatment plans are tailored to meet your unique needs and can address a range of conditions such as asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes and pre-diabetes, low back pain and more. We can provide one-on-one coaching, disease specific education, self-care training and condition management tactics, diet guidelines and physical activity goals, medication counseling and preventive and ongoing monitoring to manage your conditions and help you [and your family] stay well.


Vaccines are an essential part of public health, which is why we offer convenient access to vaccinations at Golden Health and Golden Valley Family Medical Centers. Your provider or pharmacist can determine which ones are right for you and your family based on your age, conditions, travel habits and other factors. You can then easily schedule an appointment or simply walk-in to get your vaccines administered by your provider or pharmacist.

We offer a variety of routine vaccines to protect your health and our community, including Influenza, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), MMR, Pneumococcal, Tdap/Td, Varicella
and Zoster.

Lab Services

To better support you and your eligible dependent’s needs, we offer clinical laboratory services that include onsite testing, as well as specimen collections for offsite processing. Our turnaround time for processing routine lab tests is typically 24 to 48 hours. Results can be sent to you electronically through the My Premise Health patient portal or discussed with your provider in a follow-up appointment, in-person or virtually.

Lab tests that we can perform, and process onsite include glucose, hemoglobin A1C, rapid strep testing, influenza testing, urine pregnancy testing, urine dip screenings, rapid mono testing, COVID-19 antigen and H-pylori testing. 

*Turnaround time for results is subject to national trends and case surges.

Occupational Health

Keeping you safe at work is a top priority, which is why we offer a full suite of occupational health services. Our providers at Golden Health and Golden Valley Medical Centers are here to treat work-related injuries and illnesses to help you get back to feeling well.

Our occupational health services are available for all Nevada Gold Mines employees and include injury diagnosis and treatment, emergency care services, musculoskeletal evaluations, pre/post-employment exams, drug and alcohol testing, and occupational therapy services and return-to-work plans.

Behavioral Health

At Golden Health and Golden Valley Medical Centers we believe that your mental and emotional wellbeing are just as important as your physical health. With our behavioral health services, you and your eligible dependents can get the support you need, conveniently located close to work or virtually. Our licensed counselors actively work as part of your care team to support your overall health, while making you feel safe and comfortable. You can reach them in-person or virtually, through video or by phone.*

With a blended approach of counseling techniques and evidence-based talk therapy, our behavioral health counseling services cover anxiety, depression, stress management, PTSD, ADHD, grief, adjustment challenges, substance abuse, work/life balance, family conflict and sleep issues. Golden Health and Golden Valley Medical Centers is staffed, managed and operated by Premise Health. The medical staff includes a combination of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, behavioral health providers and medical assistants. Each staff member has been carefully screened and is qualified to deliver exceptional care. Golden Health and Golden Valley Medical Centers is not staffed or managed by Nevada Gold Mines or their employees in any way.

While you are not required to use the center, it is offered as a convenient benefit to all Nevada Gold Mine employees and eligible dependents. You can also easily connect your Golden Health or Golden Valley provider with your existing offsite providers and specialists.

Health Center services are available to all full-time employees, spouses, and dependents enrolled in Nevada Gold Mines medical benefits.

All nurse-only visits, occupational health visits, and preventive care visits are no cost. All other services are a $60 fixed fee all-inclusive of any service performed during that visit. For example, if you have an x-ray and suture removal in the same visit, you are not charged additional for more than one service – you will still pay the $60 flat fee.

Health Center services are available to all full-time employees, spouses, and dependents enrolled in Nevada Gold Mines medical benefits.

Rest assured, your personal health information is confidential and secure. Golden Health and Golden Valley Medical Centers operates in accordance with HIPAA and works diligently to protect your data and health records. Also, your personal information and health records are not shared with your employer without your permission unless it pertains directly to an occupational health-related issue. Notice of privacy practices are available for review within the center.

The easiest way to make an appointment is through your online member portal. Visit to set up your account and then schedule appointments online or through your My Premise Health mobile app.
