Physical therapy
You don’t have to live with pain and discomfort. Our physical therapists are dedicated to your overall wellbeing. They work with your primary care provider to understand your specific health needs and conditions. They’ll get to the root cause of your injury and work with you to prevent future complications so you can get back to moving with ease.
We offer a full range of services, in-person or virtually, that include on-the-job injury prevention and treatment, therapeutic exercise and conditioning, return-to-work programs, pre- and post-operation rehabilitation, ergonomics evaluations onsite or virtually, orthopedic rehabilitation, health management and awareness education, dry needling therapy.

Fitness
Increasing how much you move each day, even just a little, can have major health benefits. In fact, it can improve the way you feel and help reduce your risk of many chronic conditions. No matter your experience level, your fitness team is here to help you reach your health and fitness goals.
At your state-of-the-art fitness center, you have access to wellness programs, customized fitness plans and group classes with qualified fitness professionals. We even have virtual offerings that include coaching, personal training and group classes available online and in the comfort of your own home. The fitness center is available for all AstraZeneca employees.

Travel medicine
At the AZ Employee Health and Wellness Center, we offer travel medicine services* to help you plan for your trip and to stay well while you’re away. Based on your destination, things like getting vaccinated, refilling your prescriptions and discussing health risks with your provider can make or break your travel experience.
Our travel medicine services include pre-travel risk assessment, prescriptions and vaccinations based on destination, risk reduction planning and education for self-treatment, as well as post-travel assessments and treatment, or specialist referral
*The travel medicine service only applies to work travel. This service is not available for personal travel.
Women's health
Women have unique healthcare needs. Our providers spend time getting to know you to best understand your health goals. They’ll come up with a personalized care plan to support your long-term health.
Along with general primary care services, we offer the following specifically for women’s health: breast cancer screenings, pregnancy testing, STD testing and counseling and LGBTQ+ care. Women’s health services are available for all AstraZeneca employees.
Vaccines
Vaccines are an essential part of public health. You have convenient access to many vaccines at AZ Employee Health and Wellness Center. Your provider can determine which ones are right for you based on your age, conditions, travel habits and other factors. You can then easily schedule an appointment or simply walk in to get your vaccines.
We offer a variety of routine vaccines to protect your health and our community, including Influenza, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, MMR and Tdap/Td.

Lab services
To support your needs, we offer clinical lab services that include onsite testing and specimen collections for offsite processing. Our turnaround time for processing routine lab tests is typically 24 to 48 hours. You can receive your results electronically through your My Premise Health patient portal or during an in-person or virtual follow-up appointment with your provider.
Occupational health
Keeping you safe at work is a top priority, which is why we offer a full suite of occupational health services. Your providers at AZ Employee Health and Wellness Center are here to treat work-related injuries and illnesses to help you get back to feeling well.
Our occupational health services are available for all AstraZeneca employees and include injury diagnosis and treatment, emergency care services, musculoskeletal evaluations, ergonomic assessments, pre/post-employment exams, drug and alcohol testing, physical therapy and occupational therapy services and return-to-work plans.

You can get the same great care you receive at your wellness center, virtually, either online or over the phone. This safe and convenient option gives you the flexibility to schedule a virtual appointment with your trusted provider during your center’s regular business hours, at the same cost as an in-person visit. Get the care you need at home, in the office or on the go.
Here are a few reasons you might need to book a virtual visit:*

*To conduct a local virtual visit, you must be in the same state in which your provider is licensed.

Premise Health is a provider of in-person and virtual health for the world’s leading organizations. In other words, we partner with companies to bring their employees healthcare services and operate their wellness centers.
Members are what we call our patients who are eligible to use a wellness center operated by Premise Health. It’s not a membership that you have to pay for or apply to be a part of. You’re simply considered a member once your employer has partnered with us to provide your health and wellness services.
A wellness center is where you receive care as a member. We use this term versus the typical “doctor’s office” because we offer so much more than the usual office environment. Our centers not only typically offer more services than the average doctor’s office, but are also designed with you in mind, so you feel comfortable, calm and welcomed.
AZ Employee Health and Wellness Center is staffed, managed and operated by Premise Health. Your medical staff includes a combination of physicians, nurses, physical therapists and medical assistants. Each staff member has been carefully screened and is qualified to deliver exceptional care. AZ Employee Health and Wellness Center is not staffed or managed by AstraZeneca or their employees in any way.

There is no cost to be seen by a provider at AZ Employee Health and Wellness Center.
All AstraZeneca employees can use the health and wellness center.
Your personal health information is confidential, and your data is kept secure. Premise Health operates in accordance with HIPAA and works diligently to protect all health records. We can’t share any personal health information with your employer or anyone else without your permission unless it pertains to a work-related health injury. Premise Health also operates through a private network and software systems that cannot be accessed by other members or company staff. You can review a notice of privacy practices within AZ Employee Health and Wellness Center.
The easiest way to make an appointment is through your online member portal. Visit mypremisehealth.com to set up your account and then schedule appointments online or through your My Premise Health mobile app.
You can also call (302) 886-3241 or visit during regular center hours to make an appointment.
While walk-ins are gladly accepted, the preferred method is to schedule an appointment ahead of time.
Same-day appointments are typically available.
