Dr. Sarah Duda is from the small town of Scranton Arkansas. She went to Medical School at the University of Arkansas before moving to Springfield where she completed her residency in Family Medicine. She practiced between Arkansas and Springfield before settling in Springfield. Dr. Duda married her high school sweetheart and together with their 5 children live active lives filled with various sports and other outdoor activities. She believes there is a strong connection between physical activity and wellness and that these also contribute to good mental health. Dr. Duda regularly enjoys her activity and considers her faith a large aspect of her life and a big contributor in helping her juggle all the blessings in her life.Her medical philosophy is rooted in her small-town background where every voice is significant and deserves to be heard. She treats her patients using this philosophy and feels no matter how large or small their role she listens and cares as much for them as everyone else. She is excited to be considered a part of the Bass Pro Family and starts every day knowing she will be doing her best to bring the best healthcare to each Outfitter.
Susan is a highly accomplished, skilled, and patient-focused registered nurse professional with 25+ years of comprehensive experience in health administration and direct patient care. Her most recent experience has been managing 30 family practice rural health clinics located in AR, OK, TN, and GA. Susan moved to Springfield in September of 2021, to be closer to her children. She has two children, Jordan, her daughter from Springfield and Austin, her son, who lives in Norman, OK. Susan believes in providing care for the whole patient. That our physical, mental, and spiritual needs all play a part in our health and that by treating each person holistically we can keep patients healthier and happier. Susan stays well by addressing acute physical issues quickly. She is also a firm believer in “recharging” by having dedicated time for self-care, which usually includes a beach and the ocean for her.
Nashe has been a nurse for 6 years but has been in the health care industry for a total of 9 years. Most of her nursing background is in neurosurgery and cardiovascular departments. In addition to being a Registered Nurse, she is also a nutritional coach who is passionate about health and wellness! When she is not taking care of patients, she can be found spending time with her husband and 4 children in the outdoors.
Kathy has over forty years of clinical experience that ranges from children with disabilities, men and women’s health, and pre and post op surgical experience. Kathy currently resides in Strafford, MO with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her grandkids and going to the lake. Kathy believes her patients do better and understand more when they know that she is listening to them and that she is committed to their health care needs. Kathy feels that keeping her mental health in check is the most important thing for her. She tries to reduce her stress, since it is a factor in heart disease, by doing things she enjoys and that are conducive to her well-being.
Sarah has 4 years’ experience as a medical receptionist, and it is something she has grown to love immensely. Being able to assist and help others is her passion. Sarah goes above and beyond to help and always strives to put the patient first. Sarah finds mental health just as important as physical health, because the two go hand in hand and can overlap. Sarah believes in “being where your feet are” to avoid the anxiety and stress of what has already passed, and what is to come. She firmly believes we are not our emotions but should still respect them in ourselves and in others and let them come and go as needed without letting them interfere with relationships. In Sarah’s free time you will always see her with a book in hand, this is something she has carried throughout life. Whether it’s a thriller or self-help book, Sarah enjoys learning and bettering herself, constantly striving to be better and grow as a person.
Chris Arroyo graduated from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1997. He began his career by working for Walgreen’s as an intern in 1993 and then as a Staff Pharmacist right after graduation. He was promoted to Pharmacy Manager in the St. Louis area in 2000 and moved to Springfield in 2001. His most recent experience has been managing Walgreen’s pharmacies now for over 22 years. Chris has been married to his wife Julie for 22 years and they have 2 sons, of which, their oldest son is in college and the youngest is a Junior at Kickapoo High School. Chris believes in putting the patient first in everything he does. He has always felt that if we do what is best and take care of the patient, then everything else follows. He is willing to go the extra mile to ensure the highest level of care for patients. He says he stays healthy and well the old-fashioned way: by diet and exercise. He tries to stay as active as he can. He thinks that living in moderation is key. He is an optimist and focuses on the positive things in life. In his off time, he loves spending time with his wife, family and friends, and enjoys traveling.
Johnathan has worked face-to-face in retail pharmacies and across the counter from thousands of patients since 2005. Johnathan believes that service and satisfaction are a top priority to meet the needs of both prescribers and patients in delivering outstanding customer care. He also believes in providing the tools for patients to advocate for themselves and be involved in meeting their needs when presented with any challenges or delays. Jon stays well by eating both healthy and moderately and weightlifting, but also actively engaging in outdoor activities whenever possible.

We can’t share any personal health information with your employer or anyone else without your permission unless it pertains to a work-related health injury. Yes, you may request any records be sent to another medical provider. If your community provider uses Epic (or My Chart) for their electronic health records (EHR), your records will be available via Epic’s Care Everywhere platform and vice versa.

Yes, your wellness center can perform blood draws and other lab tests ordered by an outside provider. All lab orders must be faxed or dropped off at the center to ensure we have the proper supplies for the required testing.

You can easily drop off your prescriptions at the Bass Pro Shops Family Health Center Pharmacy or your provider can e-prescribe them directly to the pharmacy. The providers and pharmacy at your wellness center act as one care team. Your provider will send your prescription to the pharmacist after your appointment so you can pick it up the same day, making for a seamless experience.
